Zelenskyy's first statement after the attack on Russia

Zelenskyy's first statement after the attack on Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy used the phrase "Our longest-range operation" regarding the attacks carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on various Russian military airfields.

In a statement on his Telegram account, Zelenskyy noted that he met with SBU Chief Vasyl Malyuk and received information about the attacks on Russia's military airfields.

Evaluating the SBU's attacks, Zelenskyy stated, "Absolutely excellent result. An independent result for Ukraine."

Pointing out that the attack had been in preparation for approximately 1.5 years, Zelenskyy noted the following:

"From the beginning of its planning to its effective implementation, 1 year, 6 months, 9 days (have passed). Our longest-range operation."

Zelenskyy stated that he had instructed the SBU to release the necessary information to the public regarding the operation, adding, "Our people who prepared the operation withdrew from Russian territory in time."

Stating, "Of course, we cannot say everything now, but these are definitely actions of Ukraine that will be in history textbooks," Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is defending itself.

Zelenskyy said, "Russia started this war, Russia must end it."

RUSSIA: SOME AIRCRAFT CAUGHT FIRE IN UKRAINE'S ATTACK ON RUSSIAN MILITARY AIRBASES

In a written statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was stated that Ukraine had carried out attacks today with FPV drones on military airbases in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur regions, and that some aircraft had caught fire.

The statement used the phrase, "Today, the Kyiv regime carried out terrorist attacks with FPV drones on military airbases in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur regions."

UKRAINE HAD CLAIMED TO HAVE HIT 34 PERCENT OF RUSSIA'S STRATEGIC CRUISE MISSILE CARRIERS

In a statement made on the Telegram account of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), it was claimed that 34 percent of the warplanes carrying strategic cruise missiles were hit in the attacks carried out with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on different military airfields in Russia.

The statement, which noted that a "special operation" named "Pavutini" (Spider Web) was carried out by the SBU, stated that it was estimated that 7 billion dollars of damage had been inflicted on Russia's strategic aviation.
