The 'Democracy Watch' initiated by CHP members against the appointment of a trustee to replace Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer following his arrest continues. It has been learned that, by a party decision, a 'media monitoring board' has been formed and all social media posts regarding Ahmet Özer will be monitored from there.

According to the report in ANKA, party officials stated that the 'Democracy Watch' protests will be 'expanded to the next level' starting November 17. Planning regarding the matter will be addressed and finalized at the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting next week.

Party officials are also closely monitoring how the trustee practice and the protests are covered in the media. Among the information obtained is that the party has prepared a brochure titled 'Lies vs. Truths' regarding the trustee and municipal administration in the district, and will begin distributing it in the coming days.
