Eren Erdem shares documents regarding CHP's İzmir candidate Cemil Tugay

Erdem, who stated that he would reveal with documents the connections between Cemil Tugay, the candidate nominated by the CHP for the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, and Mehmet Cengiz, began his posts before the candidacy was even made official.

Erdem alleged, through numerous documents, that a transaction took place between Cemil Tugay and Mehmet Cengiz.

Former CHP Deputy Chairman Eren Erdem had made 'gang of five' allegations regarding İzmir in a post on his social media account, stating, "The moment Cemil Tugay is made a candidate, I will share all the documents that clearly reveal his relations with Mehmet Cengiz." 

Erdem shared the documents he mentioned today. Here are those posts made by Eren Erdem:

1-) “THE ARM IS BROKEN, IT STAYS WITHIN THE SLEEVE. But if that arm is Mehmet Cengiz’s arm; it doesn’t stay within the sleeve!” In recent days, I had expressed my reaction to the imposition of Cemil Tugay on the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality without any “primary, preference, survey, or organization reference,” and stated that if such an appointment were made, I would share documents regarding the individual’s relationship with Mehmet Cengiz. Today, Mr. Ali Mahir Başarır denied me on a TV channel, stating that I was “talking about a land sale made via tender,” and brandished a “disciplinary stick” at me. Frankly, I do not know why and for what reason they misinformed Mr. Ali Mahir Başarır and left him exposed. However, I think you will see that the situation is not as such in this series of tweets, with all its nakedness. I said the other evening that I would share them “if he is made a candidate.” Why am I sharing them now? There is still a chance! And I want to trust the wisdom of our Party Assembly. There is still hope! To create that chance, I had to bring this post forward a bit. I will proceed in points. I request that you follow the thread.

"2-) HANDOUT TO CENGİZ HOLDING BY COUNCIL DECISION! Date 21.11.2019. Upon the request of Mehmet Cengiz, a plot of land belonging to Karşıyaka Municipality is put up for sale. Of course, there is no Cengiz Mengiz beforehand! A figure is determined in the Council based on the value of the land. How much is that figure? A total of 32,102,140 TL AND it is brought to the council. Mr. Ali Mahir, there is NO tender! Here are the COUNCIL decisions for you. Now wait… Mehmet Cengiz objects. The Mayor convenes the Council. And the price is changed. How much is it made? 20,000,000 TL… The decision is passed by the Council. The land is sold to Mehmet Cengiz. And a favor of exactly 12,102,140 TL is done for Cengiz. Don’t mind me calling it a favor. I am sharing in the ATTACHMENT the price of a 2+1 apartment within the scope of the “Livin İzmir” project (Mehmet Cengiz) built on the 2300 square meter land. With that sale; public resources were practically looted by handing out hundreds of apartments (2300 times the PRECEDENT) to Cengiz. Whose property is it? The public’s. Who did the favor? The Mayor who uses authority on behalf of the public… Here are those council decisions"

3- HANDOUT ATTEMPT UNDER THE GUISE OF PTT LAND… Karşıyaka is one of the MOST INDEBTED municipalities in İzmir. For this reason, we will continue with property sales. Again, a plot of land belonging to the municipality. The buyer; Cengiz Holding (The headman is alive, witness). The sale of the land is quickly brought to the Council. The issue is quickly conveyed to the Headquarters by our party members. The Headquarters and party organizations intervene. And the handout is stopped. Some of our party members have fought an important struggle to stop this handout with the knowledge of the Headquarters. If it hadn’t been stopped; this place would be Mehmet Cengiz’s today…

ADDITIONAL note to Article 3. PTT is now private. The land is quickly removed from the sports and green area plan. And it is being tried to be made into a PTT area and sold. The precedent of the land is 6, meaning 5000-plus meters of construction comes out. Calculate the magnitude of the figures from there…

4-) ILLEGAL LICENSE FAVOR TO RÖNESANS! RÖNESANS OF THE 'GANG OF FIVE' IS THE FAVORITE IN KARŞIYAKA! Rönesans, one of the companies of the 'gang of five', operates in Karşıyaka under the name Altunizade Gayrımenkul. ILLEGAL STRUCTURES built in a part of the shopping mall belonging to the company are licensed even though they are not included in the plan. Under normal conditions, the plan is made first, then the license is given. But Mr. Cemil GIVES THE LICENSE FIRST, then brings the plan to the Council… When the issue is the 'gang of five', laws and rules are not recognized. Without the zoning plan requested by Rönesans passing through the municipal council, illegal construction was permitted and approval was given up to the municipal license. Subsequently, the place was opened and it was REJECTED in the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Council. But the Karşıyaka Mayor who allowed the illegal construction did not take any action.

ADDITIONAL to Article 4; The issue of Rönesans’s illegal license reaches the Headquarters of the period. The Headquarters and the İzmir organization object. And the Metropolitan Municipality REJECTS the plan change. I will make a critical evaluation regarding the dates in between. This plan change is so important that, in my opinion, it has carried the matter to the point of Cemil Tugay’s political position change… You can look at the dates in the documents above and compare them… The thread continues

5-) NURSING HOME HANDOUT ATTEMPT… The name of the nursing home is Zübeyde Hanım Nursing Home. It is a special place named after our Atatürk’s mother. Even for this reason alone, it is very valuable to preserve it. The plans for this very valuable 17,319.86 m2 area were hidden from the council members. The construction area of this very valuable area becomes 26,000 m2, which is a total of 260 apartments, etc., but first it was wanted to be sold for 36,000,000.00 TL, then as the processes were being completed to sell it for 200,000,000.00 TL with objections, the process was stopped with the intervention of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the HEADQUARTERS in particular! And the CHP Headquarters PREVENTED this handout! (Most of the Council members were not informed about the plan note I shared in the ATTACHMENT, it was practically a hasty handout attempt.

ADDITIONAL to Article 5; Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the CHP Headquarters, in particular, managed to PREVENT some of the initiatives included in the thread above. We know that Mr. Cemil Tugay has been a CHANGE-MAKER, especially after the “Rönesans plan change” that the Headquarters intervened in most clearly. There is a post about this above. In other words, the Headquarters made the gentleman a candidate in the past; gave him duties with various references; but INTERVENED OPENLY in his relations with the 'gang of five'. Now, Tugay, who has no hope left from this Headquarters, has found the solution in being a CHANGE-MAKER. Let this be a collective answer to those who say “If it was like this, why was he made a candidate.”

6- HE WAS WORRIED ABOUT HANDOUTS TO THE CENGİZES DURING THE EARTHQUAKE! The days when the earthquake devastated İzmir… A land sale proposal comes to the Council. The suitor for the land is clear; MEHMET CENGİZ! The neighboring land is his (Mehmet Cengiz’s). The Mayor, God bless him; just as he brings every request from Cengiz to the Council, he brings this one to the Council too. The Headquarters intervenes. With the struggle of the İzmir organization, another handout is prevented. In fact, I can count hundreds of examples. Below; I will also put the veto decisions of the Metropolitan Municipality “with the advice of the Headquarters.” This evening; TUNÇ SOYER, who vetoed Cemil Tugay’s handout plans to the 'gang of five' in the Metropolitan Municipality, was PURGED just because he supported Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. In his place, Cemil Tugay was brought, who moved to the CHANGE movement because he knew he WOULD NOT BE MADE A CANDIDATE AGAIN due to his handout activities to the 'gang of five'. I am sorry. I am very, very sorry.

Throughout this thread; I have shared A PORTION of the handouts that were handed out to Mehmet Cengiz, that were intended to be done as favors to the 'gang of five'; and that were canceled or could not be canceled and were successful, with the interventions of the Headquarters and Kılıçdaroğlu, as I “promised.”

You may or may not nominate Tunç Soyer again. But to take someone of this level and make them a candidate for İzmir; especially when he came out at 1.9% in the surveys conducted by the Headquarters, and to make him a candidate when there is no “primary, preference, organization opinion,” what does this mean? The appreciation is for the supreme public.

As a CHP member, I will resist the 'gang of five' infiltrating my party to the end.

In the posts above; there are also documents of some “'gang of five' handout attempts” that were vetoed by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality upon the instruction of the Headquarters by Cemil Tugay. Who will be able to stop this friend now? 

Under this last tweet of mine, I will end my words by putting back the “organization” signature regarding the Mezitli Mayor who was not made a candidate just because he is close to Kılıçdaroğlu, Cemil Tugay’s “veto of the handout to Rönesans” in the metropolitan municipality, and the document of the handout that was established for the “Livin İzmir” project given to Mehmet Cengiz and earned hundreds of millions for Cengiz.
