Eren Erdem addresses CHP leadership with striking remarks

Work on candidate selection continues within the Republican People's Party (CHP) for the local elections to be held on March 31.

The CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) has convened. It is expected that the process of determining mayoral candidates will be largely completed at the Party Assembly (PM) that will meet afterward.

While the resignations occurring during this process in the CHP indicate that the candidate selection work is tense, striking statements came from Eren Erdem, who served as Deputy Chairman responsible for Media, Planning, and Social Media Policies during the Kılıçdaroğlu era.

Addressing the party leadership on his social media account, Erdem said the following:

To determine mayoral candidates,

- You said PRIMARY, you didn't do it!

- You said PREFERENCE POLL, you didn't do it!

- You said SATISFACTION SURVEY, you didn't follow the results!

- Now you are trying to evade authority from the Party Assembly…

Purging names who “CAME IN 1ST IN THE SATISFACTION SURVEY” just because they stood close to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu at the convention, and engaging in identity/sectarian politics within the party; will go down in history and certify that the “change” was actually just a story of “seizing mayoralties”!

There are dozens of examples, but let me just give one;

Was the thing you called change, crossing out the candidate who came in 1st in the surveys in their district just because they stood close to Kılıçdaroğlu, and replacing them with "Onursal, who has caused the party's election system to collapse every election night?"

Yes, this was the change from the very beginning!

You told a story…

You gave promises of honor and integrity to the delegates!

You kept none of them! Now you have stood up and are mocking everyone's intelligence…

The CHP is not anyone's father's farm!
