CHP's Deniz Yücel reacted to the austerity package announced by Minister Mehmet Şimşek via his social media account.
Yücel said, "The true goal of this package is to weaken the CHP, which became the 1st party in the local elections, and to render CHP-run municipalities unable to function. For instance, will guaranteed payments continue to be made for bridges that are not crossed, hospitals where treatment cannot be received, and airports where no passengers land?"
The notable assessment regarding the package was made by CHP Party Spokesperson and Deputy Chairman Deniz Yücel.
"THE TRUE GOAL IS TO WEAKEN THE CHP"
In his post on social media, Yücel, who stated that "The austerity package was shared by Cevdet Yılmaz and Mehmet Şimşek with flowery sentences," noted the following:
"Cuts are foreseen in public investments, and in the procurement of goods and services. The true goal of this package is to weaken the CHP, which became the 1st party in the local elections, and to render CHP-run municipalities unable to function. For instance, will guaranteed payments continue to be made for bridges that are not crossed, hospitals where treatment cannot be received, and airports where no passengers land?"
