Gürses stated, "The Dilan-Engin Polat couple did not flee abroad, they cannot. There is a travel ban imposed by the prosecutor conducting the investigation. They could only go to another country by fleeing and seeking asylum.
None of the 13 suspects mentioned in the file can go anywhere. There is money that came out of thin air," she said.
The couple's lawyer, Çağdaş Çelik, had said, "If it is clearly proven with evidence in the file that there is money laundering, I will clearly withdraw from the case."
