Stating that this feature was very well received by users, Instagram is expanding its scope and offering this feature for posts as well.
The feature, which has been expected for some time, allows users to share posts or reels that are only visible to specific people when selected as close friends.
The feature, which has been actively tested for a while, seems set to be rolled out to everyone soon.
