Iranian Minister Abdollahian warns US and Israel: Israel will be destroyed by Palestinians

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a joint press conference in Tehran with South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Naledi Pandor.

During the meeting, where bilateral relations with the Republic of South Africa and regional developments were discussed, Israel's attacks on Gaza and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians were evaluated.

Abdollahian stated that Israel is present in the region as a 'proxy force' for the US, saying, "US President Biden went to Tel Aviv and is supporting the Israeli regime, which is bombing hospitals, mosques, churches, and civilian residential areas in Gaza under the pretext of Hamas. This is a very painful situation. Biden announces in Tel Aviv that they will help the Israeli regime by sending hundreds of weapons. This very clearly shows that the US has launched a proxy war against the Palestinians," he said.

"ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE REGION AT ANY MOMENT"

Defining Israel's attacks on Gaza as 'genocide,' Abdollahian stated, "I declare clearly from here that the region has now turned into a powder keg. The continuation of the genocide and wrong steps such as forcing the people of Gaza to migrate will have painful consequences for both the region and those seeking war," he expressed.

Warning that the situation in the region would spiral out of control if Israeli attacks continue, Abdollahian said, "I warn Israel and the US; if they continue with the genocide and war crimes, anything can happen in the region at any moment and the situation could spiral out of control."

"ISRAEL WILL BE DESTROYED BY PALESTINIANS"

Meanwhile, Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, in a speech at a program held in Tehran, stated that the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation organized by Hamas was not planned by Iran, saying, "If this were our work, it would have taken place as a newer version of any of your military operations in the Iran-Iraq war. Israel received a heavy blow directly from the Palestinians and has not been able to digest this. Israel will be destroyed by the Palestinians," he stated.
