Claim that Mansur Yavaş will join IYI Party denied; candidacy statement from Şamil Tayyar

Discussions regarding Yavaş's possible political position continued despite the denial of the claims. The Medya Kritik program broadcast on TGRT Haber also addressed what path the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor might follow in the coming period.

In the program, journalist Fuat Uğur made an assessment that Yavaş might leave politics and retire. It was also noted that TGRT Haber Ankara Representative Fatih Atik had previously brought similar behind-the-scenes information to the agenda.

In contrast, journalist Şamil Tayyar argued that Yavaş would not end his political career. Tayyar offered a different interpretation of the retirement claims, asserting that Mansur Yavaş "will definitely be a presidential candidate."
