The sale process for the Kocaeli-based road transport company Asya Tur has been completed. The company, which has been operating under Genç Tur since 2020, has been acquired by a partnership between Gölcük-based businessman Cemil Uzuner and Turindex Turizm owner İsa Yılgın.
Following negotiations with Genç Tur owners Ali Genç, Niyazi Genç, and Kadir Genç, it was stated that the share transfer and sale transactions were officially concluded approximately 10 days ago.
Founded in 1962 by Ahmet Tevfik Bezci, Asya Tur is among the region's well-known transportation brands with its long history. Names such as Haldun Bezci and İbrahim Bezci have also served in the company's previous management.
Asya Tur, which will continue its operations under new management, has a total of 50 buses in its fleet, 40 of which are company-owned. The company is expected to continue its road transport operations with its current capacity.
