A year ago, on September 1, 2025, I wrote in Dağarcık Türkiye: ''Operation Clean Hands and the System... On the streets, in the courthouses, in the workplace... A whisper is circulating: “Is an Operation Clean Hands coming?''

Operations are being carried out with the power and necessities of the Palace-Bureaucracy regime under the name of the Presidential System. Who has been touched? Do you remember? TÜSİAD? Celebrities? Drugs, extortion, bribery, organized crime... All are targets. Long-time pro-government journalists, mayors, ministers... All are under the lens. Some are being thrown in jail, some are being summoned for questioning. And then there are those who go to testify quietly. Let our journalist friends reveal them.

FETÖ, the Süleymancılar, the Furkan Foundation, Menzil, and many others... It is debatable how deep the operations go. But they are undoubtedly expanding. The murders of Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, Uğur Mumcu, and Necip Hablemitoğlu... The Gülistan Doku case...

As politics becomes criminalized, political transformation is also left to the judiciary. Politics is being torn away from its natural course and its actors. A-politicization is crowned with depoliticization. The public is not apolitical. The public is political but now depoliticized. There is now a political public outside the political sphere. There is now a passive public that has surrendered to magic hands, deep powers, and fate.

In my article on 12puntohaber on September 13, 2025, I said the following: ''We have arrived at a grueling internal reckoning. Politics, politicians, projects, almost everything is evaporating. While a new world system is being established, everyone is trying to grab a corner. However, it is very difficult to distinguish the corners from one another. Perhaps cornerlessness prevails. Everyone is trying to sit at a Round Table. At this table, there is no room for us, that is, for those of us who are not the chosen ones of sects, cults, capital, or foreign powers. We are spectators. We are without politics. We are in collapse. We are watching the collapse. We are collapsing.''

We are in collapse, watching the fight on an immoral ground. We cannot even take a side in the fight.

Combating drugs, the drugging of the public, the numbing of people's lives, and ensuring that our citizens and the Turkish nation do not fall into the hands of a handful of interest groups must be a fundamental goal. We are in a collapse where one cannot remain a spectator. To remain a spectator at this moment means to be complicit in the crime and with the criminal. Let's say we are not complicit... It is clear that we cannot influence how the cleanup will be done, who it will start with, and who it will stop with. No complaining afterwards!

The honorable must be as brave and organized as the dishonorable!
