How many more innocent children lost their lives on November 20, World Children's Day, which was adopted by the UN General Assembly 34 years ago?

How many more Palestinian children...

Yet yesterday, as on many other important days and anniversaries, the ruling power, institutions, and organizations—most of them civil society organizations masked as human rights groups by finance capital—made statements.

Sentences carefully selected and arranged in a fluid integrity regarding the meaning and importance of the day were read, and voice messages were heard.

But then what?

Then there are those who ignore the murderer and the bloody order that feeds and nurtures it, making "end the war" statements from their comfort zones without really getting their hands dirty or upsetting anyone!..

It is enough to drive one mad!

A genocide is being committed against Palestinians!

Thousands of people, mostly children and women, have died and are dying in Gaza.

Who will stop Israel?

Let us finally agree that this issue is not a war of one religion against another.

Israel is the satellite and the guard of US imperialism in the Middle East.

It has been massacring, displacing, imprisoning, shooting, and crushing the oppressed Palestinian people for over 70 years...

"The religion or language of the oppressed is not asked!"

Will humanity stand with the oppressed or the oppressor today?..

To stand with the Palestinian people, one does not need to speak the same language or believe in the same religion.

Let us recall now:

Countries that have severed diplomatic relations with Israel: Bolivia, Colombia, Belize...

Those who have recalled their ambassadors: Chile, Honduras...

Those who protest at the cost of being beaten to death by their own police or being detained, mostly Israelis from the Communist Party, and those filling the squares in the UK, Spain, Canada, the US, Australia, Greece, the Netherlands, and many other countries,

Hundreds of thousands of Christians, Muslims, and those who believe or do not believe in other religions...

Fans of Spain's Real Sociedad and Scotland's Celtic teams who unfurled Palestinian flags in stadiums...

On the other side, Islamic countries that rejected the demand for an embargo on Israel at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Morocco, Bahrain...

WILL ISRAEL KNEEL WITH THESE ACTIONS?

Protest actions against Israel have been and are still being held in Turkey, even if they are decreasing day by day.

But is it enough?

Is any concrete step being taken at the end of the day?

Those who raid coffee shops and throw mice, hold sit-in protests inside, spill coffee on the floor, buy cola from markets only to pour it into the streets, or cover the brand of their luxury vehicle with a cloth...

Can Israel and the imperialist US be brought to their knees with these and similar actions?

Do those who carry out these actions not know that no results will be achieved?

Of course they know.

Some are easing their consciences, while others are trying to distract from the target and prevent anger from being directed at the real source. In short, they are just letting off steam.

Can an anti-imperialist stance be expected all of a sudden from a tradition that has never challenged the power of capital, never spoken out against imperialism, and never participated in any labor or rights movement in its history?

Why is the tradition that has held power for over 20 years, both intellectually and practically, not persistent in cutting off commercial and diplomatic relations with Israel? And why does its voter base not put pressure on the political power...

The conservative right is doing its activism with controlled areas and rhetoric 'without going off course.'

While all this is happening, the green light is given to Sweden's membership, paving the way for NATO's expansion. The US bases in the country are still standing where they are...

At the end of the day, the protest in support of Palestine ends. No concrete sanctions are decided against Israel. Not a single word is said to those who do not take them.

The new owners of capital get into their luxury vehicles and return to their residences in neighborhoods where people of that tradition live...

The Turkish right is currently being tested on its stance against imperialism in solidarity with Palestine.

The massacre in Palestine reminds humanity of its responsibility once again.

Instead of rhetoric and slogans, result-oriented commercial and diplomatic sanctions must be implemented as soon as possible to stop Israel...
