The fact that the Treaty of Lausanne has come to the agenda while the opening program is being implemented has caused serious discomfort. Because if the Treaty of Lausanne is accepted as the title deed of the country, discussing Lausanne brings the discussion of the country's borders and administrative territory to the agenda, in which case the acquired national borders and the right to govern would suffer serious damage.
If these discourses are bothering the minds of almost the entire society today, one should not hold those who put forward the demands that bother the nation's mind accountable, but rather those who created this environment without foresight. To understand this process, it is necessary to go to the initial stage of the process and the way it was initiated. Did the initiation of the process not take place in the form of the co-chair of the People's Alliance personally calling on Öcalan to lay down arms and personally making a speech in the relevant party group? In the same process, was it not said by the head of state himself that all kinds of political steps could be taken after the weapons were buried?
Well, when the issue develops in its main lines like this, can there be any objection to the other side, having strengthened its hand, putting forward its proposal without recognizing any boundaries? Because in such a proposal or invitation relationship, the one who proposes a meeting means that they are also ready to receive the other side's proposals. When the view emerges that a proposal is made and negotiations can be held on the proposals that may come from the other side, reaching such a result should not be seen as very surprising in terms of the dynamics of the process. The essence of the matter here is what kind of connection center both the party making the proposal and the party developing the counter-proposal are guided by. While the Middle East is being shaped, the fact that a policy exactly the opposite of the politicians and policies that were once very assertive in the Turkish political world is on the agenda today is probably not related to a dream seen at night.
Once upon a time, during the Özal era, Bulgaria was sending Turkish groups to the country. Angered by this situation, Özal was showering the Bulgarian authorities with threats such as "I will squeeze your throat." But whatever happened, all the rhetoric was suddenly shelved, Turkish citizens were sent to Turkey, and the sent citizens were settled in Turkey. That event went down in the pages of history as a curtain of mystery, and it seems that today's event was also initiated in some way, and even continued in some way, and in the advanced stages, the safe state that Israel and the USA aim to create in the Middle East will take its place on the page of history.
Leaving aside the very advanced stages and looking at what is immediately in front of us, it seems that very complicated questions and problems will arise in the negotiations to be entered into. Undoubtedly, the first of these is naturally the issue of Lausanne. Opening a discussion on Lausanne is not limited to the Kurdish issue alone, and very complicated different situations may be encountered. Then, while thinking about and advancing the process that has been initiated, it is also necessary to think about the intellectual backgrounds of those who put forward the project. Moreover, it is inevitable that not only the Turkish and Kurdish sides but also all potential parties, including imperialist state or states, should think about this issue very seriously. If the issue is the reshaping of the Middle East with the policies of the USA and Israel, it is necessary to think very seriously about the borders that will be redrawn with rulers and to be politically prepared for possible situations.
In the same context, it is also necessary to think about the state structure, the administrative area related to the structure, and the entire connected system. Since Lausanne has been brought up, a federative system might be targeted at the most innocent level. The transformation of the currently applied unitary state system into a federative structure may not be solely related to Kurdish citizens. The structure, which has been transformed from an empire into a nation-state, consists of social structures with different sub-identities that are intertwined like marbling. Integrating small or large social tissues with different sub-identities into a nation-state is a difficult problem that takes an extraordinarily long time. From a political point of view, nation-state structuring can be created on a homogeneous population and identity structure where the communities forming the nation have merged and identified with each other under different influences for a long time. Indeed, when we look at basic formations such as German Unity or French Unity, we encounter a fairly homogeneous identity structure that has formed over as long a period as ethnic uniformity. The explanation for the integration of ethnicity and origin differences in the USA lies in the desire of all of them to turn to adventure and wealth as a common goal in a new area. Moreover, even there, besides the north-south conflicts and unfortunately the conflicts entered into with the indigenous peoples, the rapidly developed texture of prosperity has cemented the peoples to each other. Nation formation is a kind of organic cementing in the social fabric.
When moving from nation-state structuring to a federative structure, the organization of education and defense services, which are described with the adjective "national," may change. Although there is the adjective "national" in front of education services today, the transition from nationalism to religiousness in a very wide area has led to the damage of not only secularism but also nationalism in education. Nevertheless, it is useful to think once more about very basic services such as education and defense.
Turkey's southeastern region is extraordinarily important in terms of both industry and agriculture. The GAP project, which was realized by investing billions of liras, provides a significant portion of electricity with an integrated system. The region, which is also rich in terms of oil and some minerals, must serve not only the local people but the entire country's people together with the local people.
In nation-state structures, especially the degree of creating a fair system among social tissues consisting of different sub-identities is also related to the economic system applied. The current situation in which Turkey is drifting is that the internal exploitation mechanism in late-capitalizing economies has caused and is causing hostility among peoples.
The situation experienced today, or rather imposed, is definitely positive in terms of the silencing of weapons, the end of conflict and human deaths, in short, efforts to create a system that is peaceful, calm, and respectful of human rights, and therefore the process should be welcomed positively. However, on the one hand, the fact that the solution does not cover all relevant groups, and on the other hand, that it is presented as a top-down imposition rather than as a result of the free will declarations of the peoples from the grassroots, should be interpreted as a violation of the parties' right to national sovereignty as well as their declarations of free will. Moreover, what such impositions, which are entered into without the necessary agreements, will lead to in the future is another enigma! It is understood that at the root of the matter, there is neither human rights nor a truly democratic orientation. Perhaps the only justification at the bottom of the business is the long-term interest calculation of the imperialist. It is understood that the establishment purpose of the Greater Middle East Project (BOP), and the establishment of the presidencies of this artificial organization, are all related to the dirty ambitions of the big brother; that is, the fragmentation of the states existing in the Middle East for the purpose of the security of the USA and Israel and the establishment of a new Kurdish State. Just as the democracy and/or freedom given to peoples from above is not real, states established by imposition/order from above cannot be real within the framework of their own freedoms and rights!
The issue is bigger than it looks, it resembles the "yellow ox" affair.
