TODAY, THE DUTY OF THE TURKISH NATION IS TO SAVE ITS INDEPENDENCE AND ITS REPUBLIC, WHICH IT HAS FAILED TO PROTECT AND DEFEND.

Great Turkish Nation,

As a citizen whose greatest pride is being a part of the great Turkish nation, I want to pour my heart out to you on the 100th anniversary of our most precious treasure, the Republic.

I feel the deep pain of having failed to protect and defend not only our primary duty, Turkish independence and the Turkish Republic, but even failing to preserve them until their 100th anniversary. I am experiencing the heavy costs this has had for all of us, and I am anxious that even more will follow.

I am experiencing the sorrow of not having been able to protect our beautiful, unique homeland and our unique Republic, which Atatürk and his heroic comrades-in-arms gifted to us under impossible conditions and with great sacrifices. I carry the unbearable weight of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Republic with anxiety.

Every single institution of the Republic of Turkey, which was built by Atatürk himself on the values of a contemporary, democratic, and rights-based life and which tried to institutionalize throughout the history of the Republic, has been consciously and systematically damaged, corrupted, and rendered dysfunctional by the ruling power.

Some were weakened and corrupted in part, others to a greater extent, and some were completely liquidated along with their institutional memories, ignoring the terrible public loss.

Starting from 2003, for at least 10 years, the questions for all state exams were stolen and given to partisan sects and communities, destroying equal opportunity and fair competition. The state's qualified and experienced human resources were replaced by the incompetent and unqualified.

Those raised within these illegal, bigoted nests of superstition as enemies of Atatürk and the Republic, and enemies of secularism and contemporary values, were placed in every level of the state.

Approximately 500,000 sect members replaced the qualified human resources that the country had managed to create with great difficulty. Along with competence and merit, the state's wisdom was, of course, also destroyed. Today, the most important institutions of the state have been seized by enemies of the Republic and by immoral people who think of nothing but their own interests, acting in cooperation with them. For this reason, we are paying terrible prices every day in many areas.

Because the Refik Saydam Hygiene Institute, with its extraordinary accumulation of knowledge, was closed, we paid a higher price and suffered more loss of life during the pandemic process.

Because the Turkish Aeronautical Association's magnificent 'Fire Birds' forest firefighting fleet was disbanded with base lies, we could not extinguish our forests in the biggest forest fires in the history of the Republic in 2021, and we experienced a forest loss of 140,000 hectares—at least 15 times the annual average—and a massive loss of ecosystem.

Because the Turkish Armed Forces were removed from the disaster management system and positioned in the background as a support group, we suffered much greater loss of life than normal in the February 6, 2023 earthquakes, and the surviving earthquake victims experienced much greater difficulties. This is because we did not use the Turkish Armed Forces' massive capabilities and facilities—prepared for extraordinary conditions and capable of working under any circumstances, such as communication, transportation, logistics, manpower, and effective, accurate, and rapid decision-making mechanisms—from the very first minutes. We could not effectively and efficiently use Turkey's real search and rescue capacity, which was much better prepared than in 1999, from the very first minutes. It was the unfortunate citizens and those left behind who suffered.

Today, 20 Turkish islands and 2 Turkish islets in the Aegean are under outright Greek occupation and have been armed against us. Both are illegal and contrary to international law, but the government is stopping the Turkish army in violation of the Constitution and does not allow anything to be done about it.

Because I brought this issue up on the pro-government channel AHaber and said, "Abandoning Turkish islands and islets, the homeland's soil, to foreigners is an act of treason, and one day those responsible will be tried," I was tried for 5 years in prison for insulting and threatening the President by a prosecutor who is now in prison for FETÖ membership. This frame-up case also marked the beginning of the government's coup against AKUT.

In AKP's Turkey, the Republic's philosophy of the rule of law has been replaced by the rule of the powerful. The law does not apply to government members who commit crimes.

Today, global drug barons are clashing fiercely in Turkey, and even mafia leaders are being released with ridiculous sentences.

Foreign drug baron mafia leaders wanted by Interpol are being protected in our country by being given Turkish citizenship. Today, Turkey is the new drug hub of Europe and the Middle East, and although tons of drugs are frequently seized, the people at the top of the business are never reached.

Those in power and their supporters impose publication bans every time on news about their own crimes or any news they do not want. Moreover, they have negative news about themselves on the internet, which is humanity's common pool of knowledge, and on Google, removed nationwide and/or worldwide through court orders. In the future, when people do research, they will find it very difficult to find the evils they have hidden.

Even the Republic's national economy and tax law are now in a state that protects the cronies, taking from the poor and giving to the rich. It has been brought to a state where it cannot even provide proper support to retirees, despite granting billions of liras in tax debt amnesties to the oligarchs created by an extraordinary wealth transfer that has been going on for 21 years.

The rich have become richer, and the poor have become poorer. While a small minority has become super-rich with the looted resources of the country, poverty has become chronic and deepened in a wider segment of society than ever before, and a large number of people have become dependent on aid.

In recent years, the height of Turkish children has decreased due to unhealthy nutrition. In the Turkey of the 2020s, this shame is enough for all of us in the glorious Turkish history.

Despite so many Constitutional Institutions, we left Political Islam so unchecked that because the measure of its vulgarity, cruelty, and evil knew no bounds, it damaged the system in an unsustainable way, and the normal functioning collapsed everywhere. We, all of us, everyone, are paying the price for this together in various ways and constantly, and we will continue to pay.

The national education system was interfered with to capture the innocent minds of our children at an early age, and children who were forced to go to schools far from their homes were directed to illegal sect and community dormitories by preventing the state from building dormitories.

To capture middle school and high school youth, normal schools were closed and turned into Imam Hatips, and Turkish children were forcibly directed to Imam Hatips.

They applied the dormitory game to university youth as well, and our children and youth were left without options and forced to stay in the dormitories of sects. Their fresh brains were washed there.

Today, millions of our children, mostly girls, have been left outside the compulsory education system. Yet Atatürk had carried out the education mobilization by saying that there is no individual to be sacrificed in education. The Republic's philosophy of unity in education has been destroyed today by countless sects and communities, under-the-counter Quran courses, Sibyan schools, and religious education that they have lowered to kindergarten level.

The government's project of distributing Republic of Turkey citizenship to anyone who comes along, implemented to transform the Turkish nation into an undefined community of the Ummah, is the most terrible of all these betrayals.

Because the Republic of Turkey state is the last remaining Turkish homeland remnant in Anatolia of the Ottoman Empire, which was a World Empire and a Turkish State that lasted over 600 years. It is the last remaining Turkish homeland saved by the Great Victory after terrible and bloody wars that lasted for many years and a terrible and cruel occupation that lasted almost 5 years.

For this reason, Atatürk, by saying "The people of Turkey who founded the Republic of Turkey are called the Turkish nation" and by saying that everyone who is bound to the Turkish state by the bond of citizenship is a Turk, united the entire nation—those who gave their lives, took lives, became veterans, became martyrs, were part of the national struggle, lived through World War I and the War of Independence together, suffered the pain together, and remained in the last Turkish homeland, Anatolia, and managed to survive—into the Turkish nation with their homeland-saving and Republic-founding identity.

This is why Turkey belongs to the Turks most of all. That is why it is 'How happy is the one who says I am a Turk.' That is why it is 'I am a Turk, I am honest, I am hardworking.' That is why it is 'May my existence be a gift to the Turkish existence.'

In the past, those who were granted Republic of Turkey citizenship were published in the Official Gazette because granting Turkish citizenship to a foreigner is a very important event and must be done in front of the state and the nation.

However, the government today has granted Turkish citizenship to millions of foreigners, mostly from underdeveloped Muslim countries, in violation of the Constitution, is still granting it, and is hiding this from the public's knowledge.

Because the government aims to divide the Turkish State, which is an indivisible whole with its country and nation, and to disrupt our unitary structure, our unity, and our solidarity.

It is trying to divide the heroic Turkish nation, the savior and founder of the homeland, and turn it into an Ummah society by distributing Turkish citizenship to millions of Syrians, Afghans, Pakistanis, Iraqis, and many other citizens of underdeveloped Muslim countries we do not know. It is trying to transform the national structure of the Republic of Turkey nation-state into an Ummah society by diluting it with foreigners. They also talk about how the new Constitution will reflect the diversity and richness of the nation. Whatever that means?

On the 100th anniversary of our unique Republic, which we thought we would celebrate with great pride, enthusiasm, happiness, trust, loyalty, and togetherness, the situation Turkey is in is very similar in essence, even if it appears very different from all those very dangerous, terrible, betrayed, divided, hopeless, and desperate days that Atatürk described in a long paragraph in his Address to the Youth.

The name of Atatürk and the national struggle process are being tried to be erased from school books and everywhere, T.C. (Republic of Turkey) signs were removed, our internal front was wounded, strategic state institutions including some defense industry organizations were destroyed, economic destruction was created, our assets were sold and looted, even our contingency reserves were spent, we were indebted to the future, our demographic structure was disrupted with millions of asylum seekers and refugees, the supremacy of the TBMM (Grand National Assembly of Turkey) and the principle of separation of powers were abolished, the National Security Forces system was changed, military schools were closed, our military health system was destroyed, our army was weakened, the production economy was abandoned, and while we were one of the 7 self-sufficient countries in the world, we became dependent on the outside in agriculture and animal husbandry, and our dependence on the outside in energy increased. We are in a very fragile situation in every respect.

The situation we are in is worse than very bad because nothing is under the control of the Turkish nation. Anything can happen, anything can be done, anything can be tried, everything can be dared. The government has severely battered Turkey's internal front.

Conditions are very suitable for those who have ambitions against Turkey. We must be aware of this, and we must be vigilant and very careful.

As Atatürk said at the end of his Address to the Youth; Even under these circumstances and conditions, our duty is to save Turkish independence and the Republic because we have no other choice.

Because we did not always protect our independence and Republic, which Atatürk asked us to protect and defend when necessary in the very first line, and because we did not defend them even while terrible things were being done before our eyes, the place we have come to today is that we have lost our independence in various degrees in places, and our Republic is no longer 'the protector of the unprotected,' and has become unable to protect its own citizens, its own nature, its own resources, its own borders, its own peace, and itself.

We cannot protect our forests, we cannot protect our water resources, our agricultural lands, our nature; just as we cannot protect our mines, we cannot protect our miners; we cannot protect our protected areas, we cannot even protect our coastal areas and our national parks; we cannot protect our museums and our historical artifacts; we cannot protect the rights of our women, our children, our students; we cannot protect the rights of our workers, our civil servants, our retirees. We cannot even protect our borders.

We cannot protect anything we need to protect; we cannot even protect ourselves.

The rampant political Islamist minority that has seized the Republic of Turkey, which is a secular, democratic, social state of law, has divided the nation by deceiving it with God, the Quran, and Religion in cooperation with imperialism to rob and loot the country's resources; it has divided it in opportunity, justice, and sharing, created a great duality with the inequality it created, and alienated the great Turkish nation from itself by putting it under heavy economic pressure.

With the massive perception management machine it created, it got what it wanted every time by playing with the perceptions and emotions of the masses. Neither we nor our Republic have managed to protect ourselves.

Because we could not protect our Republic, our Republic can no longer protect us. The Republic of Turkey state has been seized today with all its institutions and turned into a party state.

It is on a knife's edge where anything can happen at any moment, with all its resources exploited by super-rich dirty politicians and their dirty collaborator oligarchs, its people turned against each other and even armed, and over 15 million asylum seekers, refugees, illegal immigrants, and terrorists infiltrated among them filled into the country.

Elections are now held in the shadow of weapons and under the threat of civil war.

Just as it is clear how we fell into this, it is also clear how we will get out. We can save our future and the future of our children by reclaiming our Republic, reviving the Republic's institutions, and protecting all the gains of the Republic without compromise, especially the principles of fundamental rights and freedoms and the rule of law.

We can start by clearing the obstacles in front of Turkey so that it can become a state of law again. No matter what, the law must prevail because where the law ends, violence begins.

We must not forget that we can get out of these difficult times by speaking the truth first. Whether it brings disaster or happiness, we will always tell each other the truth. The truth is always the best. Today, our Republic has been destroyed, and today it is the duty of all of us to save it.

No one should forget that the strength we need is actually within us, flowing in our veins, that everything is achieved by people, and that as the Turkish nation and the Republic of Turkey state, on the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we have everything necessary to turn back all these evils, crimes, and betrayals, to try those responsible in independent Turkish courts, and to take back everything they stole from us.

The Republic of Turkey will know how to overcome these difficult times as one and whole with its country and nation. It has more than enough qualified human resources, professional staff, Constitutional Institutions, and a democratic system to achieve all this and more.

The magnificent Republic founded by Atatürk, although very battered on its 100th anniversary, is in its place and is still very strong because both its state and its nation are in their place and are aware of everything.

The state's justice sometimes arrives late, but it arrives; the nation's slap sometimes lands late, but it lands.
