Those wondering how to topple a ruling power should take Starmer as an example

The UK went to early general elections the day before yesterday. The opposition Labour Party ended the 14-year reign of the Conservative Party and emerged from the ballot box with a landslide victory. 

The Labour Party showed the whole world how a deeply entrenched ruling party can be defeated.

After its success in the local elections, coming to power was already inevitable. The opposition party, led by Keir Starmer, provided a roadmap to power for parties in other countries that have remained in opposition for a long time. 

For example, if the CHP in Turkey wants to come to power, it should carefully follow the roadmap of the Labour Party in the UK… Because while the first step to victory is success in local elections, it is not very easy to sustain this. With examples of this having been experienced in the past, every step to be taken is very important.

So, what brought the Labour Party to power? First, it is necessary to take a look at Keir Starmer's leadership qualities. Keir Starmer, a true child of the working class, had a nurse for a mother and a factory worker for a father…

He is a name who has been molded within politics and, of course, the party he chairs since his youth. He is also someone who actively practiced law until the moment he was first elected as a member of parliament at the age of 50…

In his victory speech, Starmer, who secured 412 seats in the 650-member House of Commons, used an inclusive language. The new prime minister, who went to Buckingham Palace to officially receive the mandate to form a government from King Charles III, said, "Whether you voted for Labour or not, I am speaking directly to you. My government will serve you. Politics can be a force for good. We will show this. Country first, party second."

The "country first, party second" rhetoric actually summarizes his entire election campaign. Starmer has long been sending the message to the public that he cares about all of England. He promised to be the prime minister of the entire country, not just a certain segment. 

After taking over the leadership of the Labour Party from the more left-leaning Jeremy Corbyn 4 years ago, Starmer positioned the party more toward the center. This stands out as one of the most important strategies of the victory. To win votes from a party that had been in power for 14 years, Starmer analyzed the voter profile well and abandoned extreme rhetoric… He also drew undecided voters to his side with the promise of a better economy. 

This shows that the economy is the most important factor that will unseat a government anywhere in the world. In addition to ensuring economic stability, he promised improvements in healthcare services, which have been on the agenda with disruptions. His promise to lower energy costs by establishing Great British Energy also gave voters a promise of economic relief again. 

In other words, two out of every three of his promises were always about economic improvement and prosperity. 

I have two suggestions for opposition parties that want to come to power: first, they should analyze the real agenda and problems of the public well, just like Starmer, and even obtain detailed information about the election strategy of the UK Labour Party if possible.

The second is to have a reform-oriented program in their hands regarding the economy and healthcare services…

A public that is unhealthy and suffering from economic hardship will not recognize its own father and will remove anyone from office.
