Sinan Ateş was actually killed with the first punch

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

The political assassination that said 'I am coming',

was fueled by the spiral of violence engulfing Turkey!

The impunity of those who shed blood, relying on the state units they leaned on and organized within, led to the death of Sinan Ateş!

Sinan Ateş was killed in those very first attacks carried out against journalists and politicians!

*

Remember the lynching attempt against Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in Çubuk… The attackers were certain they would not be punished…

Those who should have been tried in a high criminal court under normal circumstances were tried like petty criminals and released…

Even though the person who threw the punch said, "I am not regretful," he walked out of the courthouse freely…

Sinan Ateş was killed on that very day when the rule of law was slaughtered!

*

In Kayseri, members of the Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları) who raided a television building assaulted the TV owner and beat an opposition politician with sticks.

That was not enough; they kidnapped the man from the studio!

The perpetrators of the incident were clear… However, those who added fuel to the hell of violence covered up this attack as well… The "main guy" had gotten away with the case…

The one who was beaten and assaulted could only be glad to have saved his life!

Journalist Yavuz Selim Demirağ… While opening his door in front of his house, he was struck on the head from behind with a stick. Six people beat him until he was near death.

He miraculously emerged from intensive care. The 36th High Criminal Court stated that Demirağ did not die in the attack, ruled that there was "no intent to kill," and declared a lack of jurisdiction. Demirağ's legal struggle lasted for years…

The experienced journalist stated that he was targeted by the MHP leadership…

I could give many examples… But let me recount the attack on Selçuk Özdağ in terms of the similarity of the process…

The domino effect of the Özdağ attack three years ago emerged in the Sinan Ateş murder!

It was January 2021… Future Party Deputy Chairman Selçuk Özdağ was subjected to a surprise attack in front of his house.

Three people had beaten Özdağ until he was near death…

Severely injured, Özdağ returned from the brink of death… The vehicle used in the attack belonged to an Idealist Hearths executive…

The behind-the-scenes of this attack, like the others, was to be put to sleep by the judiciary…

And one year after the Özdağ attack, on December 30, 2022, former Idealist Hearths President Dr. Sinan Ateş was subjected to an armed attack in Ankara…

Tolga Balcı from Gazete Pencere wrote that a name mentioned in the investigation of the Selçuk Özdağ attack appeared in the Sinan Ateş murder. The news that Suat Yılmazzobu, who was protected and left out of the case in the attack on Özdağ, took part in the planning phase of the Ateş murder would shake the agenda.

This is how the tsunami of violence that murdered Ateş was fueled…

Those whose names were written on lists and who were targeted were beaten and shot… For the last three years, Turkey has been the scene of violence that would make Colombia look mild.

The fingerprints of those who did not speak out against the first punch aimed at dissidents, those who covered it up, those who glorified violence, and those who pressured the judiciary to release the perpetrators are all over the Ateş murder.
