Despite there being months until the election, he suddenly appeared without the knowledge of his coalition partners, declared a 'challenge,' took the country to an early election, and both his own party and the parties of that era collapsed... The AKP, which had been established under the wing of imperialism shortly before the early election, was carried to power in the first election...

Remember, in the June 7, 2015 elections, the AKP had emerged defeated for the first time. A chance had arisen for the CHP and MHP to come to power... However, Bahçeli rejected the coalition due to the presence of the DEM party, which was then called the HDP. Even though Kılıçdaroğlu told him, "come and be prime minister," he took the country to another election, and the AKP, by creating a 'security concern,' recovered in a short time and returned to power...

Without understanding these 'vital' moves by Bahçeli toward the AKP, we cannot place the 'opening' project he is carrying out today into context...

The public, struggling with an economic crisis, has given up on the Palace... Bahçeli is once again providing a lifeline to the AKP, which fell to the position of the second party in the local elections... Moreover, he is trying to extend Erdoğan's rule by spearheading the opening and new constitution projects imposed by imperialism.

IT WAS PLANNED IN ADVANCE...

Bahçeli's call to the terrorist leader Öcalan and his pressing the button for a new opening did not surprise me.

Because I had reported to readers in the Cumhuriyet newspaper, where I was writing at the time, that this project was being cooked up in the Palace before the Presidential election.

3 years ago, in my column in Cumhuriyet dated September 15, 2021, I wrote, "I think Bahçeli, who has made many sacrifices for the AKP, will not raise his voice against a new opening process"...

However, there was no valid reason at that time for the DEM party (HDP) and the MHP to come together... the risk was great, it was impossible to convince the voters... the process stalled there, and instead of taking this risk before the election, they focused on determining the opposition's Presidential candidate.

Once Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's candidacy became clear, the 'new opening' project was put on hold...

There was no need to take this risk to win the election...

Instead of political figures like Selahattin Demirtaş, who influence young masses and cause difficult days for Erdoğan politically, Öcalan, who is ready to do anything, is being brought to the forefront...

I suspect that Bahçeli's words, "come and say that terrorism has ended," were prepared long ago... meaning the statement where Öcalan will ask for terrorism to end and the PKK to lay down its arms has already been written...

In the first opening, Öcalan was made to negotiate with the state through intermediaries... Now, by calling Öcalan to Parliament, Bahçeli has set the bar so high that the public has become prepared for anything...

We are entering days where those who worry that this process will deepen division rather than peace, and those who oppose Öcalan's release, will be targeted.

In the first opening, the PKK had descended into the cities, and hundreds of our soldiers and police were martyred in the trenches they dug... Turkey had returned from the brink of the abyss by giving martyrs...

The opening and the new constitution are twin brothers

They will make the opening the foundation for the new constitution...

While the MHP creates the justification for 'being DEM-ified' on the internal front against 'foreign powers,' the DEM Party will sit at the constitutional table by making Öcalan a subject of bargaining under the pretext of so-called democratization...
