About 1984
Winston is a party member who works for the interests and power of the party. Winston's life, which he defines under the identity of the party, changes when he starts keeping a diary.
In Oceania, where Big Brother watches everyone, this diary, in which he notes down his memories, ideas, and observations, is a great danger for Winston.
Winston's questioning of the past, present, and future, and his falling in love, make him dangerous for this ruthless regime, and his punishment is unpersoning.
His love Julia and O'Brien, whom he believes in unconditionally, are the driving forces in his plans to overthrow the regime. Winston will either be a hero or he will be destroyed.
