Decision from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres regarding Seda Fettahoğlu

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres will hold a memorial ceremony for Seda Fettahoğlu, who passed away recently (September 27, 2023).

The ceremony, which will take place in the foyer of the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage, will be held with the participation of the actress's family, IMM City Theatre artists, and her fellow artists.

At the special ceremony to be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 13:00 at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage, her friends and colleagues will share their memories of Seda Fettahoğlu, who left us at a young age.

The IMM City Theatre family will bid farewell in the theatre to their actress, Seda Fettahoğlu, who was laid to rest in her hometown, with this special memorial ceremony, just as they do for all their artists who have passed away.

WHO IS SEDA FETTAHOĞLU, HOW OLD WAS SHE, AND WHERE IS SHE FROM?

Seda Fettahoğlu was born in Trabzon in 1979. Having graduated from Trabzon Anatolian High School in 1997, Seda Fettahoğlu was a graduate of the Bilkent University Theatre Department. Fluent in English, Seda Fettahoğlu worked in voice acting in addition to theatre. Throughout her career, Fettahoğlu performed in many plays at the Istanbul City Theatres.

Widely recognized for the series 'Sihirli Annem', Seda Fettahoğlu also portrayed the character "Sultan" in the series 'Çocuklar Duymasın'.

Seda Fettahoğlu ended her life on September 27, 2023.
