Ata Demirer’s new film ‘Pervaneler’ begins production: Release date announced
Filming for the movie “Pervaneler,” written by and starring Ata Demirer, has begun in and around Ayvalık. The film will be released on January 8, 2027.
Filming has begun for the new movie “Pervaneler,” which was written by and stars Ata Demirer. The film, produced by BKM, is directed by Hakan Algül.
Production, which started on September 28, is scheduled to be completed in about six weeks in and around Ayvalık. The cast, who first came together for a table read, moved to the set after preparations in the region were finalized.
In addition to Ata Demirer, the cast of “Pervaneler” includes Furkan Andıç, Algı Eke, Şifanur Gül, Ebru Cündübeyoğlu, Ali İpin, Ülkü Duru, Berkay Tulumbacı, Cemil Büyükdöğerli, Buğra Ağalday, Murat Kılıç, Gökçen Gökçebağ, Serhat Özcan, Kübra Balcan, Arda Başkan, Ediz Akşehir, and Ozan Bengi.
The film aims to bring Ata Demirer’s observational humor and unique world of characters to the big screen with a new story. Demirer has previously reached a wide audience with a cinematic style that blends characters from everyday life with warm humor and sincere emotions.
The release date for “Pervaneler” has also been announced. The film will meet moviegoers on January 8, 2027.
