Concert to be held in Istanbul in memory of İbrahim Erkal! Names to take the stage announced
A 'Hürmet' (Respect) concert will be organized in memory of the master of the Turkish music world, İbrahim Erkal. The concert will take place on Sunday evening, December 10, at the İstanbul AKM Türk Telekom Opera Hall. The artists who will take the stage at the concert have been announced.
The Ministry of Culture and the General Directorate of Fine Arts In this event, organized within the scope of the "Loyalty Concerts" and in partnership with Ulus Müzik, the tribute album series "Hürmet," which the artist had been working on for over two years, will be introduced.
İbrahim Erkal, who left his mark on the music world with more than 200 works, is being commemorated in this concert with the "Hürmet" tribute albums, which reflect the different tones and emotional depth of his music.
At the concert; Alişan, Aydilge, Ceylan, Doğuş, Eda Baba, Elif Kaya, Güliz Ayla, Gökhan Tepe, Kafadar, Resul Dindar, Sinan Akçil & Enes Yolcu, Sufle and Zehra will perform, accompanied by the Istanbul State Modern Turkish Music Ensemble, to bring Erkal's works back to life.
İskender Ulus, founder of Ulus Müzik and producer of the Hürmet albums, İskender Ulus, emphasized the emotional significance of the project, stating, "We have tried to present İbrahim Erkal's musical legacy, his spirit, and his profound meaning to you through these albums."
