Following this development, a statement came from İbrahim Erkal's wife, Filiz Erkal.

'IT IS AN ATTEMPT AT FRAUD'

Emphasizing that İbrahim Erkal never owned such a bağlama, Filiz Erkal said, "There is no such bağlama. This is a great injustice and slander against both İbrahim's memory and his family. It is an outright attempt at fraud. I have decided to apply to the judicial authorities."
