British rock band Deep Purple will perform in Istanbul for the third time. Tickets for the concert, which will be held at Küçükçiftlik Park on June 25, will go on sale starting February 20.
Founded in London in 1967, Deep Purple has produced 22 studio albums over its more than 50-year history.
The band, which has created many songs such as 'Smoke On The Water', 'Highway Star', 'Burn', 'Child in Time', 'Hurricane' and 'Perfect Strangers', has sold over 100 million albums worldwide.
Deep Purple, which previously performed in Turkey in 1998 and 2001, currently consists of Ian Gillan, Roger David Glover, Ian Paice, Simon McBride and Don Airey.
