Deniz Kireç's exhibition 'Seascapes-II' has debuted

The works in the exhibition feature figures and symbols that bear the artist's name, Deniz. Symbols such as fish, whirlpools, and plants are depicted as expressions of the unconscious through an intuitive and expressionist approach.

'I USE GOLD LEAF IN MY WORKS'

Artist Deniz Kireçexpressed her thoughts regarding the works in the exhibition with the following words:

"I have an intuitive and expressionist understanding of art, so figures from the unconscious come to life on my canvases. Symbols representing figures related to my name, Deniz, also take their place in my compositions, such as fish, whirlpools, seaweed, etc. I use gold leaf in my works. According to Jung, the 'Soul' is depicted in a circular form.

Inspired by this, I symbolize the souls of living creatures with gold circles in my work, emphasizing how precious the soul is."
