Sakarya Elektrik Dağıtım AŞ (SEDAŞ) has painted the enthusiasm of the Republic's 100th anniversary onto electrical transformers as part of its 'Our Canvas, Transformers' project, aimed at raising awareness on social issues.

In the event held at a concrete kiosk-type transformer in Sakarya's Serdivan district, visuals themed 'The 100th Year of Our Republic', 'This is how we won the Republic', and 'The Republic has been proclaimed' were depicted.

In the event, which included the SEDAŞ senior management team and employees, SEDAŞ Chairman of the Board and CEO Dr. Necmi Odyakmaz stated that the Republic is the guarantee of the independence and democracy achieved as a result of the great struggle for liberation.

'WE PAINTED THE PRIDE WE FEEL ONTO OUR TRANSFORMER'

SEDAŞ Chairman of the Board and CEO Dr. Necmi Odyakmaz said, "On the 100th anniversary of October 29 Republic Day, the greatest day in our history, we have painted the pride we feel onto our transformer. I believe that we will pay our debt to the Republic by increasing the welfare of our nation and carrying our country to higher levels.

On this occasion, I commemorate with respect, love, gratitude, and mercy our Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gifted us these days, as well as all his comrades-in-arms and our dear martyrs," he said.
