Heartbreaking confession from Selim Bayraktar about Serhat Kılıç: 'One day before...'

Following the death of actor Serhat Mustafa Kılıç, widely known for his role as Ergun Plak in the series "Seksenler," his close friend and colleague Selim Bayraktar has made statements.

Kılıç's passing at his home in Kağıthane, Istanbul, caused great sorrow in the art world. Bayraktar stated that he is reeling from the loss of his friend, with whom he was preparing to star in the series "Teşkilat" for the new season.

Noting that he had known Serhat Kılıç since their student years, Bayraktar described their final meeting, stating that Kılıç had previously undergone cancer treatment and had recently been suffering from a neck ailment.

"Serhat had received cancer treatment in the past. We were together until the last day on set; he was having trouble with his neck. I was going to take him to the doctor one day before he passed away, but he couldn't make it. I asked, 'Are you alone?' and he said, 'I'm not'; it turns out he was alone. Sometimes you cannot prevent what is meant to happen. I miss Serhat very much."

Bayraktar had also used emotional words at the memorial service held for Kılıç. Expressing that the late artist brought a unique energy to any environment he was in, Bayraktar emphasized his extraordinary personality and knowledge.

In his memorial speech, the famous actor expressed his longing for Kılıç with the words, "The curtain may have closed, but his friends will continue to remember him when they come together, and his applause will never end."
