Hittite artifacts to be exhibited in South Korea: 212 pieces delivered

As a result of a protocol signed between the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Gimhae Museum in South Korea, 212 pieces of Hittite artifacts have been placed in the museum where they will be temporarily exhibited in South Korea.

Hittite artifacts sent from Çorum to be exhibited in the South Korean city of Gimhae and the capital Seoul have reached South Korea. The exhibition, which will open on October 7, has sparked curiosity in South Korea.

A protocol was signed in recent months between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Çorum Municipality, Gimhae Municipality, and the Gimhae National Museum of South Korea.

Within the scope of the protocol, 212 pieces of Hittite artifacts were delivered to the Gimhae Museum for exhibition.

Çorum Mayor Dr. Halil İbrahim Aşgın made the following statement regarding the matter:

'We are signing a very important cooperation that will contribute to the cultural life and tourism of Çorum. Archaeological artifacts from Hattuşaş, Boğazkale, Alacahöyük, and our Çorum Museum will be exhibited at the national museum in the city of Gimhae, South Korea, between October 7 and February 2, and subsequently in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.'
