The artist, whose real name was Dzansever Dalipova, was born on July 8, 1967, in Veles, North Macedonia. Despite losing one of her eyes as a result of an unfortunate accident when she was only 12 years old, she never gave up on her passion for music. She took her first steps into her professional music career with an album she released in North Macedonia in 1992.

Her entry into the Turkish music market took place in 1997 when she was a guest on the "İbo Show" program hosted by İbrahim Tatlıses. Cansever, who made a major breakthrough with the folk song "Kara Çadır" that she performed on the program, captured the hearts of a wide audience with her album "Meçhul," which she released the same year. Blending Romani music, Balkan melodies, and arabesque music with her unique interpretation, the artist wrote her name in golden letters in the history of Turkish music with unforgettable works such as "Ağla Gözbebeğim," "Sen de Gittin," and "Kime Bu İnat."
