During the operation in October, the aunt of Halaç, in whose house 200 kilograms of gold were found, was also detained. It was claimed that the gold found was inherited from his father, Fazıl Halaç.

Retired judge Kerim Yılmaz announced in a post on his social media account that Özcan Halaç and his wife Zeynep Başak Halaç, who were arrested in such a major operation, were quietly released and will complete their sentences under house arrest.

Before the Halaç couple, the company's CEO, Ayşen Esen, had been released some time ago. The suspects are accused of defrauding the public through a series of irregular transactions.
