It has been learned that the Ministry of Trade will investigate content shared on social media and posts regarding luxury lifestyles.

Accordingly, it was stated that information will be requested from content creators.

DECISION TO INVESTIGATE 600 INFLUENCERS

According to the report by Yeni Şafak, known for its proximity to the government, other social media influencers in Turkey will also be meticulously examined following the launch of a "money laundering" investigation into the Dilan-Engin Polat couple.

MINISTRY TAKES ACTION

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security is beginning to examine the posts and flamboyant lifestyles of social media influencers.

In this context, it was learned that approximately 600 social media influencers will be investigated in detail. Ministry officials will report any illegal situations encountered to the relevant institutions and units.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Trade has also taken action by ensuring more careful inspection of products sold online and has announced the Product Safety in E-Commerce Project.

According to the draft of this project, it was stated that products offered for sale via means such as the internet and telephone will be inspected upon receipt of complaints or at the ministry's own initiative.
