AKP watches as Greek soldiers set foot on Anatolian soil: Özdağ reacts to coast guard incident
Following the emergence of a video showing a Greek coast guard boat violating Turkish territorial waters off the coast of Datça, Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ has made a striking statement.
About a week after the chase that took place in the Akyarlar neighborhood of Bodrum, a new video has emerged showing Greek coast guard forces entering Turkish territorial waters.
In these images recorded off the coast of Datça, it can be seen that a Greek coast guard boat is violating Turkish territorial waters and chasing a Zodiac boat.
In the video, it was recorded that a person on the Zodiac boat abandoned the boat, and subsequently, a Greek soldier boarded this boat and departed the area along with the Greek coast guard boat.
Just as in the incident that occurred in Bodrum, it was observed that Greek coast guard forces committed a border violation off the coast of Datça as well. One of those who reacted to this development was Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ.
Özdağ expressed his reaction in his post with the following words:
"In the east, our borders are being violated by human smugglers, terrorists, and riffraff refugees, and in the west, by the Greek coast guard. The Greek coast guard is practically making a landing on Turkish soil. The AKP, which remains silent about the occupation of Turkish islands in the Aegean by the Greek army, is now watching as Greek soldiers set foot on Anatolian soil."
Doğuda sınırlarımızı insan kaçakçıları teröristler ve mülteci bozuntuları batıda ise Yunan sahil güvenliği ihlal ediyor. Yunan sahil güvenliği adeta Türk topraklarına çıkarma yapıyor.
