The incident that took place this morning occurred in the Nine Hatun neighborhood of Esenler, Istanbul. According to allegations, Adem Muslu (48) began arguing with his wife, Güler Muslu (49).
Following the argument, Adem Muslu shot his wife, Güler Muslu, with a firearm. Adem Muslu then called 112 and claimed that he had shot his wife by accident.
Medical teams arriving at the scene determined that the woman, who was lying on the ground covered in blood, had lost her life, while police teams took Adem Muslu into custody. Güler Muslu’s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy. The teams' investigation into the incident is ongoing.
