Another metro station for Istanbul
The Mimarsinan Station, added to the M9 Ataköy-Olimpiyat Metro Line, entered service on August 30 Victory Day. The new station expands the transport network of the line, which connects 5 districts, and will be integrated with the future Kirazlı-Halkalı Metro.
The Mimarsinan Station of the Ataköy-Olimpiyat Metro Line in Istanbul has begun service.
According to the statement made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), construction work at the Mimarsinan Station of the M9 Ataköy-Olimpiyat Metro Line has been completed.

The station, which was opened for the use of Istanbul residents on August 30 Victory Day, will be integrated with the upcoming Kirazlı-Halkalı Metro.
With the opening of the Mimarsinan Station, the Ataköy-Olimpiyat Metro Line has reached 11 stations, connecting 5 districts by passing through Bakırköy, Bahçelievler, Bağcılar, Küçükçekmece, and Başakşehir.
On the line, which is 13.39 kilometers long, it is possible to travel from the first station to the last in 19.5 minutes.
