86-year-old architect Turgut Toydemir, who lost his life after being shot by a police officer during a traffic dispute in Beykoz, has been laid to rest.
The funeral of 86-year-old architect Turgut Toydemir, who passed away in the hospital after being shot during a traffic dispute in Beykoz, has been held.
Toydemir's body was brought to the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque in Levent after being retrieved from the morgue.
There, Toydemir's son, Mehmet Toydemir, accepted condolences on behalf of the family.
Following the funeral prayer held after the noon prayer, Toydemir's body was laid to rest in the family plot at the Ümraniye Hekimbaşı Cemetery.
Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Özbek, numerous business people, and relatives attended Toydemir's funeral.
