Following the arrest of Dilan Polat and Engin Polat for money laundering, it was announced that the ministry had taken action and that an investigation would be launched into 600 social media influencers.

A new development occurred today regarding the Polat case, which is being closely followed by the public.

As will be recalled, a photograph taken in November 2019 of the Dilan-Engin Polat couple with their fellow influencer friends had been a subject of long-standing debate on social media.

Last week, a travel ban was also imposed on the influencers under investigation.

The Anadolu Courthouse judgeship, which is conducting the investigation, has seized all movable and immovable assets of 12 people, including Eylül Öztürk, Feyzanur Başarılı, Kadir Yiğit, İlayda Topal, Merve Nur, Tayyar Öz, Özlem Öz, and Murat Yiğit.
