All eyes in the Republican People's Party (CHP) have turned to the group meeting to be held tomorrow. Last week, CHP's elected Chairman Özgür Özel took the podium at the group meeting. It has been announced that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship with a decision of absolute nullity, will speak at this week's group meeting.

The CHP Group Presidency has notified the TBMM Presidency that Özgür Özel will speak at tomorrow's group meeting.

While there is great curiosity about what will happen in Parliament tomorrow, Özgür Özel held a meeting with his party's MYK members at his office in the TBMM.

Calling on the Kılıçdaroğlu camp to act with common sense, Özel stated, "They need 46 deputies to hold an alternative group meeting. I leave that assessment to them. But I invite them to be sensible."

ÖZEL'S EYES FILLED WITH TEARS

CHP leader Özel, whose eyes filled with tears while mentioning Ferdi Zeyrek, said, “When I couldn't go to Manisa, Ferdi Zeyrek would tell me, ‘Brother, we need you. We will handle it here. So you stay there.’ I am needed here right now, so I will hold the group meeting here tomorrow.”

We are facing a palace mind, a palace plan that is trying to govern the party with the results of the 2020 congress held without an audience during the pandemic, after removing the chairman and party administration who received their mandate from the official Supreme Election Council in the last four congresses of the Republican People's Party, and who received all valid votes in the last three congresses, and where the key list was elected without being broken for the first time in party history, with a nullity decision that resonated throughout the world and left a great black mark on our political and legal history in Turkey.

At this point, while what was expected was, of course, not to accept this duty and to support the party in going to a congress immediately in unity and solidarity, the impossibility of holding the congress was expressed on one hand. There is no one in Turkey who thinks this way, except for the lawyer friend newly appointed by the headquarters. All public law professors, election law professors, everyone says and writes the opposite, that a congress must be held immediately. Their articles are published in international journals, published in law journals, they meet on the same texts. But one lawyer and one person say 'we cannot hold a congress' and they try to manage the party.
