Cemal Enginyurt: Whoever let this many ISIS members into the country is a traitor
The perpetrators of the attack on the Santa Maria Church were captured in the evening, and Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that they were focusing on the possibility that the suspects were affiliated with ISIS. Cemal Enginyurt made a striking comment regarding this statement.
Democrat Party Deputy Chairman and Istanbul MP Cemal Enginyurt shared an assessment on his social media account regarding the attack on the Santa Maria Church and the subsequent developments.
Following Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya's statement that the individuals who carried out the attack were citizens of Tajikistan and Russia and that authorities were focusing on the possibility of their connection to ISIS, Enginyurt made a striking observation.
Reminding that a month ago, a large number of ISIS members were captured while preparing to attack synagogues and churches, Enginyurt shared the following:
"ISIS has claimed responsibility for the Santa Maria Church attack. Exactly one month ago, a large number of ISIS members were captured while preparing to attack synagogues and churches. If this news is true, how did this many ISIS members enter our country?
Not even the fingerprints of asylum seekers were taken.
Whoever let this many ISIS members into the country is a traitor."
