Chain-reaction traffic accident in Afyonkarahisar! Many injured
24 people were injured in a chain-reaction accident in Afyonkarahisar involving a passenger bus, a semi-truck, and two cars. The injured were taken to hospitals, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
The accident occurred at the exit of the Sandıklı district. According to the information obtained, the Mercedes-brand passenger bus belonging to Metro Turizm, which was carrying 36 passengers, rear-ended a semi-truck in the early morning hours after the driver lost steering control for a reason yet to be determined.

Two different cars were also involved in the accident. According to initial reports, 24 people in the vehicles, whose names have not yet been identified, were injured. The injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances that arrived at the scene following reports after the accident. Other passengers on the bus continued their journey after being transferred to another bus sent to the region by the company.

Police and gendarmerie teams are continuing their investigations in the area.
