Court responds to Dilan Polat and Engin Polat's release request
Lawyer Sevinç Horoz, who appealed the detention of the Polat family, applied to the Criminal Court of Peace. According to information obtained, the court rejected the appeal.
An investigation was launched against Engin Polat and Dilan Polat for the crimes of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime," "prevention of laundering proceeds of crime," "laundering assets derived from crime," and "violation of the tax law."
Fourteen people, including Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Alper Kürşat Polat, Sinem Sıla Doğu, Can Doğu, and Can Polat, were arrested on Sunday, November 5, within the scope of the investigation.

Engin and Dilan Polat's lawyer, Sevinç Horoz, went to the Criminal Court of Peace and appealed the detention.
Horoz requested the release of the Polat couple.
Evaluating the appeal, the Criminal Court of Peace rejected lawyer Sevinç Horoz's objection regarding the detention.
Following the decision of the Criminal Court of Peace, the file was sent to the Criminal Court of First Instance for the appeal to be evaluated.
