Criminal complaint from ADD against the Ministry of National Defense
The Kemalist Thought Association (ADD) has filed a criminal complaint against the relevant personnel of the Ministry of National Defense who approved the decision of the Land Forces Command High Disciplinary Board regarding the dismissed lieutenants.
The dismissal decision regarding seven lieutenants, who were referred to disciplinary action following a fight that reportedly began when a lieutenant did not pin a photograph of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to his uniform during the November 10 Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony at the Tuzla Infantry School, has been approved.
The 7 lieutenants were definitively dismissed following the approval by the Ministry of National Defense (MSB).
CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THE MSB
The Kemalist Thought Association (ADD) reacted to the MSB's decision, stating, "It is clear that this decision amounts to the expulsion of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK from the Turkish Armed Forces, and it is no one's place to do such a thing."
In a written statement, the ADD announced that it has filed a criminal complaint against the relevant personnel of the Ministry of National Defense who approved the decision of the Land Forces Command High Disciplinary Board.
