The construction of the new courtroom, which was planned to be held at the Silivri Prison complex as part of the "IMM Case" filed against CHP's presidential candidate and IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been detained since March 23, with a request for up to 2,352 years in prison, is ongoing.

THE COURTROOM WILL NOT BE READY FOR THE FIRST HEARING

However, according to information provided by journalist İsmail Saymaz, the courtroom in question will not be ready for the first hearing to be held on March 9. Upon this, the court panel decided to start the trial in the No. 1 courtroom in the existing building.

ONLY DETAINED DEFENDANTS WILL BE SUMMONED TO THE FIRST SESSION

Due to the limited physical capacity of the courtroom, it was reported that only the detained defendants would be summoned to the first hearing. It was stated that the non-detained defendants would be included in the case in the sessions after the month of Ramadan or if the new courtroom is completed.
