Demirören re-elected as President of the Golf Federation
At the 6th Ordinary and 9th Financial General Assembly of the Turkish Golf Federation, Yıldırım Demirören was re-elected as president for a four-year term, receiving the votes of 125 delegates.
At the Turkish Golf Federation 6th Ordinary and 9th Financial General Assembly held in Ankara, Yıldırım Demirören received the votes of 125 delegates and was re-elected as president for a four-year term.
During the general assembly, the management and supervisory board activities and financial reports for the 2021-2024 period were also approved.
WHO IS IN HIS NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM?
Demirören's new management team includes names such as Nihat Özdemir, İsmail Hasan Akçaylıoğlu, Murat Karaduman, Ahmet Olmuştur, Ali Düzgün Özdoğan, Mehmed Evyap, Anıl Tetik, Hasan Ceylan, Nejla Gerçek, and Güray Yazıcı. The federation is expected to take significant steps in the new term to further develop golf and reach more young people.
President Demirören stated that they have expanded communication channels and increased support for young athletes during his tenure as federation president. Demirören said, "We renewed our website, launched our YouTube channel, and strengthened our dialogue with the press. Our young athletes have achieved significant success in Europe. Together with my new team, we will work to make the sport of golf even more widespread and increase the number of young athletes," he stated.
