Footage has emerged of the moment the Malta-flagged ship IVYAN began drifting after experiencing an engine failure off Kanlıca in the Bosphorus.
The ship, which was reported to be sailing from Bulgaria to Italy, lost control and began to drift off the coast of Kanlıca due to the malfunction.
Following the incident, vessel traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended in both directions. Upon notification, teams from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety were dispatched to the area.
The footage highlights the activity in the area where the large ship was moving through the Bosphorus in the evening hours.
