The "Great Palestine Rally" organized by the AKP Istanbul Provincial Presidency in Yeşilköy has begun. In addition to AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the rally was attended by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) Chairman Fatih Erbakan, HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, and DSP Chairman Önder Aksakal.

Noting that Israel has been committing war crimes in Gaza with its attacks continuing for 22 days, Erdoğan said, "We will declare Israel a 'war criminal' to the world. We are preparing for this."
