Exact date and time for the opening of Cem Garipoğlu's grave announced: 'Necessity to make a statement'

An important development occurred the other day regarding the murder of Münevver Karabulut, who was brutally killed by Cem Garipoğlu in Silivri, Istanbul, 15 years ago.

The Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had decided to open the grave of Cem Garipoğlu, who died by suicide in prison. 

At this point, an instruction letter was sent to the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

IT WILL BE OPENED ON OCTOBER 3

Following this decision, there was curiosity about when Cem Garipoğlu's grave would be opened. Dr. Rezan Epözdemir, the lawyer for the Karabulut family, made an important statement regarding the opening of the grave. In a statement posted on his social media account, Epözdemir stated that Cem Garipoğlu's grave will be opened on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM.

Epözdemir made the following statement on his social media account; “Dozens of our journalist and press member friends are calling and asking. A necessity to make a statement has arisen. The exhumation process for Cem Garipoğlu will be carried out on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM. This is submitted for the information of the public.”
