Fatih Erbakan, leader of the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), one of the partners in the People's Alliance, did not attend the 'Great Palestine Rally' organized by the AKP Istanbul Provincial Presidency at Atatürk Airport.

According to Medyascope; Fatih Erbakan decided not to attend the rally despite it having been previously announced, and he did not provide any reason for his absence.

While there was a high turnout at the rally, strict security measures were taken in the area. Erdoğan, who arrived at the rally site, took the stage.
