Fire at a fishing shelter in Antalya! 1 injured

Antalya's Alanya district saw a fire break out on two tour boats at the local fishing shelter, which was brought under control by the intervention of emergency teams. One person affected by smoke during the fire was taken to the hospital.

The fire started on a tour boat docked at the Alanya Fishing Shelter and the flames spread to another boat in the shelter. As a result of the intensive efforts of the coast guard and fire department teams that arrived at the scene upon notification, the fire was extinguished.

Due to the fire, one boat was completely destroyed, while the other became unusable.

In a statement made by the Antalya Governor's Office, it was noted that a fire broke out in the morning hours on the excursion boats named "Baba-A" and "Admiral Black," and the following was recorded:

"The fire was intervened by fire department teams from land and by 3 floating units affiliated with the Coast Guard Antalya Group Command from the sea, while environmental safety was ensured. During the incident, 1 citizen who was on the boat named 'Baba-A' was injured and taken under treatment at the Private Alanya Yaşam Hospital. A judicial investigation has been initiated by the Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the fire that broke out on the boats."
