'The YSK has disregarded the ballot box will in Hatay'
Republican People's Party (CHP) Deputy Chair Gül Çiftci reacted to the Supreme Election Council's (YSK) rejection of all objections filed by the CHP regarding the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality mayoral elections, which had requested a recount of invalid votes and the cancellation of the election.
In a post on her X account, Çiftci stated, “The Supreme Election Council has rejected our objections regarding the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality mayoral elections. The district election boards, the provincial election board, and the YSK have disregarded the ballot box will in Hatay. The certificate of election issued in Hatay was not legitimate for us yesterday, and it is not legitimate today.”
