Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that the forest fire in Çanakkale has been brought under control. It was reported that approximately 700 hectares of land were affected by the fire.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated that the forest fire in Çanakkale is under control, saying, "The fire started due to an electrical pole exploding on the side of the road. There were no historical structures affected or damaged. Approximately 700 hectares were affected by the fire."
