Harsh remarks from Müsavat Dervişoğlu: 'You have all put such a distance between yourselves and terror that the distance has dropped to zero'

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the agenda at his party's group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

Dervişoğlu continued his reaction to the new resolution process, of which MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli is the architect, and reminded the People's Alliance of their past statements.

DINÇASLAN IS BACK IN THE İYİ PARTY

Müsavat Dervişoğlu pinned his own badge on Bahadırhan Dinçaslan, the Founding Chairman of the Nationalist Congress Association, who announced his return to the İYİ Party, before his remarks at the group meeting.

Highlights from Dervişoğlu's statement are as follows:

"We are in the midst of an economic bottleneck caused by the 8-year one-man system, which is being deliberately left unresolved.

As the Turkish Nation, we are in a vice. One side of this vice is Silivri.

From journalists to party chairmen, from bright 20-year-old youths to elected mayors and members of parliament, it is Silivri.

"THE DIGNITY WE ARE PURSUING"

Two days ago, we celebrated May 19. We celebrated the birthday of the journey that stretched from Samsun to İzmir, from Ankara to Lausanne between 1919 and 1923, and at the same time, the birthday of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

May 19 is not just the milestone of a struggle for independence; it is also the starting moment of a struggle for dignity. This is the dignity we are pursuing!

I address my fellow citizens, who are dearer than life itself: The way to alleviate the suffering we are experiencing today also passes through this struggle for dignity and virtue. This is a search for a future, not for personal gain.

"WE WILL BE MISTAKEN IF WE DO NOT SEE THE TRACES OF DISTORTION"

Remember, we must remember! We must not forget the poses they struck on the 100th anniversary of the Republic!

They celebrated the 100th anniversary by saluting 100 ships of the Turkish Navy from the Vahdettin Pavilion.

If we do not see the traces of that distortion today and understand its purpose, we will be mistaken.

If we allow the artificial agendas presented to us to cover up their true intentions, we will lose.

We will not be able to see where all these schemes will lead.

At the end of 23 years, the truth has finally come out.

They want Turkey to become a place with many nations, many languages, many legal systems, and many flags.

According to them, everyone exists in Turkey, except for the Turk.

"THIS IS DIVIDING TURKEY AND ITS CITIZENS"

To secure a presidency forever with a new Constitution at home, and to use it as capital for your personal affairs abroad, you have made the terrorist leader and the PKK interlocutors, and made the Kurds, who are citizens of the Republic, the problem itself.

By conflating the Kurds with the problem, this is what dividing Turkey and its citizens means. For 23 years, where they have fortified what they call the 'Kurdish issue,' they have never seen a citizenship issue.

Because they acted with the same agenda as the PKK. While everyone was busy recruiting supporters for their party or organization, no one came out to ask about the plight of the Kurd.

"THE DISTANCE TO TERROR HAS DROPPED TO ZERO"

Now I ask, who is it that brings the Kurd and terror side by side?

For 100 years in our Republic, there have been those who are Kurdish and who have engaged in politics for Turkey.

They have been honorable citizens in every position, as ministers and deputies. You are the ones blocking their path.

You burn the dry along with the wet because it suits your interests. Now, as you openly include the PKK in the People's Alliance and turn a political party with a group in Parliament into the messenger of Imralı, the words you have repeated for years come to my mind: 'Put distance between yourselves and terror, become a party of Turkey!'

You have all put such a distance between yourselves and terror that the distance has dropped to zero.

"WE ARE WATCHING WITH DEEP CONCERN, WAITING ON ALERT"

You know, they couldn't name it for months. They all hummed and hawed in different directions. Some even got carried away and invited the terrorist leader to parliament. Later, they crowned this uprising with 'betrayal' and the process with the headline 'A Turkey Without Terror'.

Now they want to make the Grand National Assembly a tool for this. They ask, how do you view the process?

How should we view it? We view it with concern! We are watching with deep concern, and we are waiting on alert. We have no concern other than the Republic of Turkey. Our anger is also about preserving and defending it.

Because we are obligated to defend it against the alliance of usurpers governing Turkey.

"THEY HAVE NAMED MAKING A HELL A PEACE PROCESS"

Acting with the mind of the terrorist organization,

Changing the nation-state project,

And on top of that, making Turkey a hell of ethnicities,

They have named it a peace process.

Three: What you call the State Mind is the one who boarded the British ship and fled.

Have you mistaken the fallacies of those who dared to trample upon Turkish Nationalism, the founding will of the Republic of Turkey,

"YOU HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO BE A TURK EVEN ONCE"

Why did Mustafa Kemal go to Samsun?

What is what Mustafa Kemal described as the National Secret?

While distorting Mustafa Kemal,

They think they will win the war they have started against the Turkishness they despise.

You have neither been able to recognize Turkishness!

"THEY MADE THE STATE AN OBJECT OF PERSONAL GIVE-AND-TAKE"

We are facing a political mind that tries to market the state they have collapsed at home,

As if it were a great power abroad.

The AKP government has for years condemned Turkey to its own narrow vision,

To its maneuvers aimed at saving the day, and to its personal ambitions.

This ancient state, by the hands of the occupiers in power,

As the New Turkey of the New Imperialism,

Is being made an object of personal give-and-take at every table.

"THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY IS A REPUBLIC DESPITE THE WEST"

Last week, there was intense diplomatic traffic in Turkey.

It only makes us happy if Turkey can act in accordance with its own interests first, and then with the conscience of humanity.

However, the facts that they themselves exposed with their own hands and their own media,

Show that the 23-year chain of scandals continues.

While waiting for Trump and Putin, they had to settle for Zelensky.

And the Turkish Nation itself will wage the struggle it will give to remain a Republic.

"IT SHOWED OFF WITH THE MILITARY ELEMENTS OF THE ONE IT CALLS A FRIEND"

I mentioned to you from this podium that right next to us, in the Peloponnese,

There was an exercise without Turkey.

Today, a similar development is taking place again.

Under the leadership of the US European-African Command,

A military exercise will be held based in Alexandroupoli,

The Turkish equivalent of which is 'Immediate Response 2025'.

In this exercise, where more than 12 thousand soldiers will participate,

Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia,

Croatia, they are all there. But we are not.

The world leader is not there. Perhaps he doesn't even know!

Because the AKP has buried Turkey so deeply in its own internal problems that,

The Cyprus scandals are only the visible part of this.

"THE STATE'S GOVERNOR WAS REFUSED DUE TO PRESSURES FROM ABOVE"

One of the most important examples of the decay, corruption, and disarray in the institutions of the state occurred in Tunceli on May 18.

Tunceli Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu did not grant permission for an event intended to be held for two ringleaders announced by the terrorist organization to have died.

However, following this rightful decision, due to pressures from Ankara,

The State's Governor was refused, and the commemoration of the terrorists was allowed.

So that the betrayal process would not be harmed,

So that their new partners, DEM, would not be offended,

They stood behind the demand of the terrorist organization,

Not the decision of the State's Governor.

The Minister of Interior must make a statement on this matter immediately.

I congratulate our Governor, who conveyed his request to be reassigned to the center to the ministry,

For his loyalty to the state and his resolute stance,

And I declare that we will be the followers of this issue.

This nation needs such statesmen.

No matter which party you voted for,

I address all my citizens;

In 1919, the password was 'independence or death'.

Today, we say 'To live'!

We want to live as we deserve!

We want to live in safety and peace,

We want to live free and independent.

The options are clear:

Either crawl in the captivity of the Palace,

Or live within Turkish independence!

Either submission to the sultanate of one man,

Or Freedom within the Republic!

Beside us is the nation,

And in front of us is the youth.

Come, let us walk together!

Not to an election,

Let us walk to a new beginning!

Not just to power,

Let us walk to the Republic that will be reborn."
